GEDTS, a Division of the American Council on Education, administers the GED Tests and provides information on disability-related adaptations/accommodations for the GED Tests to prospective examinees and instructors. Successful GED Test takers earn a high school equivalency diploma. The tests are available in audio,
braille, and large print editions. GEDTS also publishes GED Items, a bi-monthly newsletter for examiners and a Materials Development Center for adult education instructors.

The HEATH Resource Center operates the national clearinghouse on postsecondary education for individuals with disabilities. A program of the American Council on Education, HEATH serves as an information exchange for the educational support services, policies, procedures, adaptations, and opportunities of American campuses, vocational-technical schools, adult education programs, and other training entities after high school. The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is an international toll-free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations and the employability of people with functional limitations.
The mission of JAN is to assist in the hiring, retraining, retention or advancement of persons with disabilities by providing accommodation information.
