Tools for Life is Georgia’s Assistive Technology Program and serves individuals of all ages and disabilities. Our goal is to increase access to and acquisition of Assistive Technology so people can live, learn, work and play independently. This webinar will focus on the basics of the process for people with permanent stable and permanent degenerative neurological disorders (DND) (e.g., Huntington’s Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, AIDS, Stroke). Join us as we discuss Assistive Technology solutions, the HEAaT Model, and team approaches. We will also share research updates, case studies, resources, and funding specifically for DND.
