What to Accomplish:

Use technology-related resources/services to enhance performance capabilities and address any accommodation needs in any training or other planned service activities.
 

The services phase of the rehabilitation process can be as short as 2-3 months but often takes many years, depending on the specific vocational objectives. For individuals with identified technology needs, an AT assessment at the start of this phase will help to identify information and support needed to initiate work on vocational objectives and the specific plan of action. The progressive nature of many disabling conditions makes it necessary to review AWT needs at east once per year.
