| For individuals who are clearly going to need assistive work technology services, it may be helpful to develop a "technology needs
portfolio".
Information can be collected on technology needs that may extend throughout an individual's rehabilitation, and may include needs that are not only work related. This could be especially useful with transition cases where a school district and different potential employers may be
involved.
The "portfolio" could be used to identify future needs and to designate responsibilities for the consumer or other groups, such as school personnel, to update and add
information. |
