equipment—mobility aids and daily living devices for people with
disabilities and the newly injured.

Home Health Care Equipment for Kids, Adults or Repair

FODAC's Durable Medical Equipment Program for Children and Adults provides standers, wheelchairs, strollers, corner chairs, gait trainers, shower supports, toilet supports, walkers, hoyer lifts, therapy aides, hospital beds, specialized mattresses, and many other items.
FODAC does provide repairs to equipment when an appointment is scheduled. A mandatory contribution fee of $25.00 for each repair plus the cost for any parts that must be purchased. FODAC has DME vendor partners that will help you check your benefits for you and help you get the process started.

Ramps for Champs

Ramps for Champs programs builds home ramps and makes other modifications. FODAC currently has special funding for certain recipients based on location and income.

Re-Mount Vehicle Adaptations

FODAC accepts vehicle lifts, refurbishes them, and installs them by a trained technician for a small installation fee. Other equipment can be installed or provided such as tie downs, hitch lifts, hand controls, and six way transfer seats.

Disposable Medical Supplies

FODAC periodically receives donations of items such as wound care, liquid nutrition, assorted braces, incontinence items, etc.

International Equipment & Supplies

FODAC will provide equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and commodes to international relief partners when they become available.

Southeastern Technology Access & Reuse Network (STAR)

FODAC serves as an Enterprise Depot - providing equipment, training, delivery and equipment pickups throughout Georgia. This program promotes increased independence and more participation in education, the workplace, and the community in underserved regions of Georgia and the Southeast.
